The way in which influencers are discovered has changed fundamentally in recent years. Social media is moving away from a purely profile-based view (content graph) towards an increased focus on the relevance of individual content (social graph). This is precisely where our new content search comes in, reflecting the change in the digital landscape.
Our Creator Search goes through three central evolutionary stages:

Influencer search: the classic manual search and AI-supported identification of profiles.

Content search (now NEW in the software): The focus is no longer just on profiles, but on the content itself to directly identify relevant posts.

Relations Search (launching soon): The next stage, coming soon, opening up whole new possibilities in search by creator collaboration.
Today our focus is on our new content search, which makes it possible to discover targeted content that is already generating high engagement.
Discover content that really fits
With our content search on Instagram, you can simply enter terms like "engagement", "vegan food" or "tech gadgets" and instantly get relevant posts and reels that contain this topic. This helps you to easily identify content that performs well and find creators who are already talking about your topics.
In our Discovery module, you can now not only search through 410 million profiles on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube, but also have access to a large number of posts on Instagram via our content search. So even before you start your search, you can decide whether you want to focus on individual creators or on their content - this is an absolute game changer, especially for user-generated content (UGC)!
🔍 Content search:
You can find the content search within the software directly at the top within Discovery. This search shows yousuitable individual posts from the Instagram feed that match the keywords you are looking for. This allows you to discover targeted content on temporary topics such as pregnancy, engagement or seasonal hypes, even if these terms are not mentioned in the text. This is IROIN®'s response to the constantly changing world of social media, which has increasingly focused on "content first" in recent years instead of pushing individual profiles based on their following. This shift in mindset has been evident on the platforms ever since Instagram responded to TikTok with Reels.
Expanded filter options for even more precise results:
In our content search, you can also use some additional filters to narrow down the search results even more specifically. We have put together a helpful overview below, which divides the filters into two main categories:
- Channel (KPIs & properties)
- Here you can filter by follower size, for example, to look specifically for nano, micro, macro or mega influencers.
- Post
- Publication period: Limit the time period more precisely so that you have full control over the time period from which results are displayed. We have already defined time periods, which you can easily customize.
- Hashtags: Enter additional relevant hashtags if the results are still too imprecise for you. Keep in mind, however, that hashtags are being used less and less.
- Like rate & media value: For example, enter at least 3% as the like rate to see particularly successful content that has a high level of engagement. If you prefer to use the media value that we display in each profile as a guide, you can also enter this in a range.
- Post type & ad post: Decide whether you want to see posts, reels or carousel posts and, if applicable, also specify whether you want to have advertising or organic content displayed.
- Publication period: Limit the time period more precisely so that you have full control over the time period from which results are displayed. We have already defined time periods, which you can easily customize.
Find UGC Creator easily via content search
A key aspect of our content search is the ability to search specifically for user-generated content, which is often more authentic and engaging than traditional branded content. With UGC Creator, brands can not only incorporate the perspective and creativity of their target audience, but also discover content that has already generated engagement organically. By searching for specific topics, you can quickly find relevant UGC posts that reflect the interests and needs of your target audience.
