Can I automatically send messages to multiple platforms?
Sending messages on multiple platforms
The IROIN® Influencer Marketing Suite currently doesn't offer an automated feature for sending messages simultaneously across multiple platforms like Instagram or TikTok. Instead, you can only send messages via email. This is due to technical limitations of social network APIs that prevent automated direct messages and make integration for outreach unlikely in the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, there are good reasons why email is the best choice for communicating with influencers.
Why is multi-platform shipping not possible?
Social networks like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn have strict API policies that prevent third-party tools from automatically sending direct messages on a user's behalf. These rules protect users from spam and unsolicited requests. Platforms with high engagement potential, such as Instagram or TikTok, in particular, want to prevent companies from sending mass messages without offering real value. The situation is different if brands want to use a dashboard that consolidates all messages from their accounts—this option already exists. We recommend our partner Facelift for holistic social media management.
How does IROIN® support contact?
With the IROIN® Influencer Marketing Suite, you can create personalized emails in just a few clicks using the Messages module. This saves you time and allows for a professional approach. After you've created a message, you can copy it and, if necessary, send it manually as a direct message via social networks. This ensures consistent communication, even without the automated DM function. We've created guides for connecting mail servers with IROIN® for Outlook , Gmail , and Mandrill . Advantages of contacting us by email
Emails offer many advantages: They have a higher success rate, as many influencers expect collaboration requests via email, especially when working with brands or agencies. Larger influencers often have a management team involved, who usually handle requests exclusively via email. Emails also appear more professional than an impersonal DM and allow for better follow-up, as you can archive, forward, or respond professionally. Emails therefore remain the most reliable channel, while you can use direct messages manually as a supplement.
