Why isn’t it possible to remove an influencer from the portfolio or a campaign?

Learn why you can't simply delete influencers from campaigns or portfolios.

How can you delete creators from a campaign in IROIN®?

If you can't remove an influencer from a campaign, it's usually due to existing assignments. Once a creator has received an assignment in the Campaigning module, the profile can no longer be deleted directly. This protects campaign data and prevents accidental data loss.

✅ How to remove the creator:

  1. Open the campaign overview.

  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the profile name.

  3. Select "Delete Tasks" to remove all tasks.

Only then can you remove the profile from the campaign.

Why can't creators be deleted from the portfolio?

The Portfolio module in IROIN® functions as a central influencer CRM.
A creator profile cannot be deleted if it is linked to a campaign – regardless of whether the campaign is still active, completed, or the profile is only included as a suggestion.

This protective function ensures that past collaborations remain documented and no relevant information is lost.

✅ Procedure:

  • Open the portfolio

  • Identify all linked campaigns

  • Remove the profile from these campaigns

  • The creator profile can then be deleted

What if you want to remove many creators at once?

The removal of multiple creators is currently done manually. If you want to completely delete creator profiles, the individual records must be cleaned up and existing links to campaigns must be removed. An automated deletion function or bulk processing is not currently available.

We understand that this can be time-consuming in some cases. However, we generally recommend retaining existing data, as the Portfolio module serves as a central influencer CRM. This allows you to access historical data, track existing contacts, and make informed decisions for future collaborations.

If you need more storage space in your portfolio or need to streamline your workspace, please contact your Customer Success Manager. Together, we'll find a solution that fits your needs.

Keep track through smart categorization

Instead of deleting creator profiles, we recommend that you add individual tags or categories to them – for example:

  • Old cooperation

  • Former collaboration

  • No longer active

These markers help you clearly separate your active influencer network from previous contacts – without any data loss. Using the filter function, you can selectively hide these profiles or analyze them specifically as needed. We recommend blocking specific times in your calendar for regular data maintenance – this way, you'll always stay up to date and keep track of everything.
