Where do the influencers’ contact information come from?
Processing of public contact data
IROIN® obtains influencers' contact information, such as email addresses or phone numbers, exclusively from publicly available information. These come from the official call-to-action buttons on social media profiles or, if no information is available there, from the profile's bio. We compare information from a creator's various profiles whenever this is automatically possible.
Important information on the timeliness of the data
Many influencers don't update their contact information regularly or provide different information on different platforms. This means that a registered email address may sometimes be out of date, or a phone number may not be the same on another channel.
Because IROIN® strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ), only publicly visible contact information is processed. If a creator does not provide an email address or phone number in their profile, IROIN® cannot access or store it and will therefore not make it available within the Influencer Marketing Suite.
Manual review and adjustment in your own portfolio
To ensure that your contact information is up-to-date and correct, we recommend manually reviewing the stored data. If any discrepancies or incorrect information are discovered, you can make individual adjustments to your own portfolio in IROIN®. This way, your team is always informed, and you both know how to reach whom.
Any changes you save in your personal portfolio are visible only to you or all users of your license and are not transferred to the general database. This allows you to save your own updated contact information without it being visible to other IROIN® users.
IROIN® offers an automated and GDPR-compliant way to collect contact information from influencers. However, since not all creators keep their data up-to-date, you should always perform manual verification to ensure the information provided is correct. Any changes you make will remain stored exclusively in your own portfolio and will not be visible to other clients.
