How do I create tracking links for influencers?

Learn how to generate and evaluate tracking links for influencers in IROIN®.

If you want to create tracking links for your influencer campaigns, it's easy with the IROIN® Influencer Marketing Suite: These links help you precisely track your campaign performance and analyze click rates. To get started, first open your campaign in Campaigning. Then go to the Campaign Manager, where you'll see all the added profiles. Select the profile for which you want to create a tracking link. This is the first step to ensure the link is assigned to the right influencer and you can clearly evaluate the results later.

How do you create the tracking link?

Click on the three dots in the selected influencer's action menu to open the options. Select "Tracking > Tracking Links." A form will open where you enter the target URL—the website the link should redirect to, e.g., your product page. Optionally, you can add a description to make the link easier to identify later, e.g., "Summer 2025 Campaign." Screenshot 2025-04-03 at 14.52.19After saving, the system will automatically generate a shortened bit.ly link that you can provide to the influencer. This tracking link is now ready to be embedded in the influencer's content, e.g., in posts or stories on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.

UTM links that have already been shortened by Bit.ly cannot be converted back into a Bit.ly link within IROIN®. Inserting Bit.ly links will prevent click tracking in IROIN®. 

How do you evaluate the tracking data?


All generated tracking links appear in your campaign's reporting. There, you can monitor click counts in real time, compare influencers, and analyze conversion rates. This helps you evaluate the success of your collaborations based on data and optimize your social media strategy. Tracking links are an essential tool for measuring the performance of your influencer marketing campaigns.

If tracking links or certain KPIs aren't visible in the campaign results, this is usually due to the individual view settings. You can easily customize the display: Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the results overview and personalize your view by dragging and dropping the desired metrics from the left to the right column. This way, you can tailor your campaign results precisely to your information needs.
