Are shared mailboxes (groups) supported?
Learn how to manage email communication collaboratively as a team in IROIN®
Currently, the IROIN® Influencer Marketing Suite does not support shared or group mailboxes in the Messaging module. This means you cannot use such mailboxes to manage your communication with creators through our system. For example, using an address like “influencer@yourcompany.com” that multiple people access simultaneously is not possible at this time. This limitation ensures that communication remains clear and traceable, as the system is designed for individual access.
Setting up a team email address
If you want to set up a team email address, note that shared or group mailboxes cannot be used. Instead, you need to provide an individual, personal email address, such as “name@yourcompany.com.” You should consider this requirement before configuring the Messaging module to avoid adjustments later. A personal address ensures that communication can be clearly assigned and no messages are lost, which is especially important when coordinating with influencers.
Alternative for central team addresses
If a central team address is needed, we recommend creating a dedicated email that is assigned to one person but managed by the relevant team members. For example, you could set up “influencer@yourcompany.com” and assign it to a single user while your team collectively oversees it. This address can then be added to the Messaging module to centralize communication without relying on shared mailboxes. This approach maintains oversight and ensures all team members have access to important messages while complying with system requirements.
Your feedback for the future
We understand that supporting shared mailboxes would be a major advantage for many teams, simplifying collaboration in larger groups and streamlining processes. Your feedback is important, and we are already considering integrating this feature in the future. Until then, using individual addresses ensures stable and secure communication for your campaigns.
