How do I import influencer data efficiently?

Learn how to efficiently update your data via Excel upload

With the IROIN® Influencer Marketing Suite, you can import and update influencer data in bulk via Excel, saving you time and enabling structured data management. For support during this process, contact the Customer Success team. Here you'll learn the steps to seamlessly complete the import, allowing you to focus on your campaigns without having to waste time with manual data entry.

Download template and prepare data

Contact your Customer Success Manager to receive the preformatted Excel template. This file contains all the necessary columns for importing your influencer data, such as name, social media handles, and categories. Enter the data into the appropriate columns and ensure that all required fields, such as email addresses or platform URLs, are completed. Strictly adhere to the specified columns, as adjustments may result in upload errors. Also, use the correct number and date formats, such as "DD/MM/YYYY" for dates or "1000" instead of "1,000," to avoid issues. Review your entries carefully before proceeding.

Send Excel file and check data

Send the completed Excel file to the Customer Success team, who will import it into your Influencer CRM. After uploading, check that the data has been imported correctly. Go to the portfolio and use the filter and sort functions to ensure all information is complete, such as follower counts or categories. If individual fields are missing or appear to be incorrect, contact your Customer Success Manager to resolve the issue and complete your database. 

Note: Depending on your data volume, updating follower counts and reloading profile pictures may take some time. However, all information is usually fully visible within 7 days at the latest.

Tips for smooth data management

Keep your data updated regularly, ideally quarterly, as information such as relocations or management changes for creators can change quickly. Before importing, clean up any outdated or inaccurate data, such as old addresses or inactive accounts, to ensure the quality of your portfolio. If you encounter difficulties or are dealing with large amounts of data, your Customer Success Manager will be available to assist you in completing the import correctly. This bulk upload allows you to manage your data efficiently and focus on planning and executing your campaigns.
